Description
We have been working on our Liquid Elements packrafts since early in 2022 and after testing them thoroughly during the year we feel that we can now confidently sell them.
Trying to keep things simple we have only self-bailers on offer, one-person packrafts (PR1) in two sizes. A double (PR2) will come soon,
They are light weight, roll up to the size of a sleeping bag and are sturdy enough to handle anything that a Grade 2 or 3 river or creek throws at them. The floor and seat pad fits tightly into the raft and has cutouts on both sides to speed up the outflow of water once the boat has been swamped. The seat area is slightly raised from the front (foot) part of the floor for dryer seating. A short strap and buckle secure the floor to the raft to reduce “yard sale” in case of a capsize. Extra rocker (lifted bow) in the front makes for a dryer experience in waves.
Four webbing loops in the back and six in the front provide plenty of lashing points for gear. Several more attachment points are in place to secure the ergonomically placed EVA (closed cell foam) back band and thigh straps.
A waterproof/airtight TiZip is fitted centrally to the stern. Two internal attachment points allow gear bags to be secured inside the tubes.
The baffled floor is mouth inflated through a medical twist valve which only takes a minute. Full pressure can be achieved. The main tubes are inflated through a Leafield D7 valve.
Each raft comes with inflatable floor/seat, EVA backrest, inflation bag, blow-up tube, thigh straps, a small repair kit with two fabric patches and a valve tool, and a carry/storage bag.
